Sigma 150-600mm 1.4X TC's

Using the Sigma 150-600mm sport version. I have a few different 1.4 X TC's so decided to play with a couple. I'm going to post for five shots taken with the Sigma and then core five shots taken with the Tamron. This is by no means a scientific test, just to show what can be done.
The first group of five or taken with the Sigma tc-1401 1.4X and all shot at 840 mm except the Cardinal, it was shown at 786 mm.

Any thoughts? Which TC do you think works better?

Jim, I think the Tamron works a lot better, sharper and crisper shots. I have not used a TC since the 70s, today it
would be impossible without a tripod and at 72 I am not
about to lug one around.

Here are 4 photos, two with the Sigma and 2 with the Tamron. All taken with the same settings and the same PP for comparison.

I don't know what TC you used on which set but the second
picture of each set looked much better than the first.

Great shots Jim D, all are well done, the sigma my show some deeper colors but the tamron is equally sharp if not a bit better. You can't go wrong with either, have fun. Hope you are getting around ok, good to get out in the beautiful weather, can't wait to see more shots
