My husband and I like to go to GSM and take pics of bears and other wildlife. Which do you recommend D3300. D5200. OR D5300

Of course my husband has a D7100

What your husband has. The best camera is one you grow into, and since your husband already has the d7100 you can learn it.

I agree whole heartedly, learn the D7100, besides you have a free teacher. Enjoy your pursuit.

Yes, I would agree with those three.
Makes more sense than the D3xxx or D5xxx seeing as how your husband already has a D7100.
Your "teacher" will be familiar with the menu and the set up and any idiosyncracies.

Get the best you afford That way you will not want to upgrade so fast.

If your husband has a 7100, at the very least get a 7200.

Just be,sure the camera you choose fits your hand comfortably. If not, you'll be inclined not to use it as much as you might want. The d5x00 cameras are a bit smaller and lighter, if that matters. They all are fine cameras.

He bought me the d5200 for my birthday but now he is 2md guessing that one. He has only had his a couple of months so he is still learning it. In about a year he is going to buy him one of the professional grade ones so i will inherit his 7100 at that time. He is also on a waiting list for the 600mm s lens and i will get his 500mm. Yes i get his handmedowns

Not a bad idea to start with the new 7200 as it is not that much of a financial jump and you can still learn from your husbands 7100. Just a thought.

Not fair! If you can afford it get the 7200 and you can learn together.
