Sigma 150-500

question on the sigma 150-500 I'm using but have hardly shot yet- when i activate focus the VR on lens continually runs, I'm used to the tamron "locking in"- is this a normal thing? thanks

Are you very, very shaky? :D

How are the pictures? See if it makes any difference on a tripod. It sounds like a call to Sigma is in order.

I have that lens on my 7d mark ii. With the focus mode set on AI FOCUS, once it locks it stays locked. With AI SINGLE SHOT, locks on and stays locked. on the AI FOCUS AND AI SERVO it keeps making the clicking sounds asmitmismtrying to stay in focus. Hope this helps but that is what it sounds like to me.

I've been on the road but settled in so I can get some more use with this lens. It seems to be locking on, I'm not really that shaky but even on tripod it isn't tack sharp. I had to do some serious PP to get this one. thanks for all the input. f9 iso 200 1/250 second
