what used to be call a republican...age 45-60, right-leaning centrist, wants to beef up the military and gut ss, medicare, welfare and foodstamps...

You pretty much described me except for gutting SS and Medicare. Welfare and food stamps need to be gutted as far as the fraud in both plans. Same with Section 8 housing which I guess falls under welfare. But those programs buy the votes the Dims need to get elected. The hell with the country. What difference does it make?

Thanks, it helps if you help. Like explain yourself. I feel your frustration as I am constantly accused of being a republican, the only thing SLIGHTLY less repugnant than being called a democrat. If either Jeb Bush or Hillary wins it's over.

Are the Iraqi's even exporting? If ISIS gets the oil fields I suggest we pull a Hussein on them (Saddam not Barry) and just level them. That should take out a lot of ISIS and insure they don't get any monetary support from the oil. Nothing like the sweet smell of burning ISIS soldiers in the morning.
