i think all are great. #3 is my favorite because i hit the download and showed my wife and she screamed and said it was going to give her nightmares! #4 is so clear you can see debris in one of its eyes. just an awesome set. gary
All are superb photos. A pleasure to view on download.
Thanks Muddyvalley and Naturepics.
You just may have inspired me to give my Grey Wall Jumpers another photo session. I haven't shot them since last year and they seem to always be around, even though the males always seem to be way more active than the females
Nice captures
Image #4 looks like she is smiling! All are well captured.
Smashing shots all of them.
I like that the diffuser is from the right - seems to add an extra bit of personality?

Yes, thanks for your comment. It is a homemade bracket that is a Wimberley F-2 knockoff:
http://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-32754-3.html#1172900 . I have found that putting it just to the side and tilting it so that it covers from the bottom of the lens to just over the top of the lens gives me the best lighting. The diffuser is just an ice cream box with paper towel for the diffusing material.
Thanks Bill, thanks Douglass.
These are all excellent, I really like #3.
