Green bugs seem to love purple plants

Went to look for the caterpillars from the last several days. Didn't find the same ones, but did find an even smaller green caterpillar plus a Green Stink bug that was trying to hide from me. Plus in keeping with the green insects, a Green Bottle Fly on the window. The original caterpillars must be inside in any number of leaves that have been enclosed to make a shelter.
