Went back out yesterday to find the caterpillar I found the previous day. Found it plus another species of Green caterpillar that was making some sort of cocoon or maybe just a lair...Also spotted some tiny leaf hoppers that must have just hatched. They were on every newly emerged leaf on a Sumac plant. Only this one Sumac though, none of the others out behind my fence had any...The Green Anole Lizard kept a wary eye out on me that day too...

Scott: Love the color contrast in the second image. What sort of hoppers are in number 3? Did you get any closer images?

Here is another shot of the leaf hoppers. The leaves are just erupting from the stems & are quite small still. The Leaf Hoppers are even smaller...

The green and purple go so well together. Really cute shot of the lizard.
