The old lady sat still for me tonight.
My cat would never let me that close.

She's 16 and I don't even have to touch her and she purrs when I get close to her. Agile as all heck and shows no signs of fading.
Interesting shot

Mine's a year and a half-- A rescue from a shelter. Beautiful Flame-Point Siamese. Talks a lot but not a lap cat.
On enlargement, the iris appears metallic green. Well done.
Cool shot, but if I have a nightmare tonight I'm sending Freddy Krueger after you. Am I the only one who thinks almost creepy?

Thanks Douglas. It's amazing just how fast a cat can blink.
Well done, love this close up.

My shelter calico is a lap cat, but the only way you can tell if she's purring if to stick your ear right up to her or feel her neck. One of my sister's (4) cats purrs so loud you can hear him from more than a foot away!
