It looks like a very extensive collection of parts to mount any camera to virtually anything. Is this actually available yet? It says they're just getting started.

Yes, available, but pricey.

Hello Jim! I have the Peak Design "Clutch" hand strap and the Peak Design "Leash" lightweight cross-body/neck/sling strap. Both are exceedingly well-designed and made of high quality materials. Have been entirely pleased with their performance. Strongly considered the Peak Design "Camera Clip" but concluded I did not need it because I've shifted to compact, lighter weight gear for health reasons. I ordered the Leash directly from Peak Design's web-site and received the product quickly via USPS.

A "leash" has just one purpose, and it ain't for a camera. They could have come up with a better term.

Going to their website and looking at their videos, their products seem very good. I checked out some videos on Youtube on their various products and almost all got two thumbs up.

Thank you Jerry for the link... NiagaraJim as are many others in UHH was remiss in detail. Perhaps suffering from the sticker shock of $75.

I have several very expensive (under $10) mounts. One is standard (Coke or Pepsi) cap threads; it has swivel. Another if car window glass mount. Still another-another is a strong magnet with camera mount. Sorry Jerry, it has been years ago since I purchased them on Ebay,,, no reference.
Search EBay "camera mounting bracket" and there are 10,180 items... now there goes a weekend!!!

Peak Design Clutch $39.95. Peak Design Leash $34.95. Both are excellent, cost effective insurance against a dropped camera. Either can be ordered in minutes without spending an entire weekend sifting thru inaccurate ads and misrepresentations on eBay. And do you really save money blindly trusting what some doofus on eBay promises? Can you get straps for less? Of course, but at the exact moment your D610/750/810 or 7DMkII/5DMkIII and lens hits the ground, I doubt you will be thinking about how much you saved...

I have been using the camera clip for a couple of years now and find it useful when out hiking. It is very secure. I use mine with Nikon D7000 and have no issues. Got mine when it was launched on Kickstarter.

It looks like what they're calling their Pro Pad. A device for attaching the camera to your hip when not in use. It says, "$29.95. In stock." I don't know if you have to buy one of their plates for it at an additional $29.95.

I use one of these, I carry a d610 with it and find it an excellent piece of kit. Secure as, (I use a bicycle to get around).
Very quick to release your camera, same for clipping it back.

My setup is on my belt so make sure you have a strong one, mine carries the camera plus a 28-300mm no worries at all.
brilliant.

Jim, I have the same setup with my camera and attach it to a small (CamelBak) backpack strap. I have used it hiking in Costa Rica and at Disney World. Never a bit of problem, and it takes the weight off of your neck. Wish I would have had this in Italy a couple of years ago. It keeps your camera close to you and is easy to slip out of the latch. You can twist a little knob and it prevents someone else from snatching it from you, however with this design, I don't think that would ever happen.

I use the capture pro as well with my Nikon D3100. I also got mine back on kick starter and love it. I hike a lot and swap this between bags as well. It's very durable and it has never come of hinge. I like it too because i can carry my camera on the clip and at times bust out my tripod and mount the camera on it in seconds.
