What setting in windows 7

Do I check or uncheck to get the selection to change color and font size when I select a topic in our UUH daily newsletter .

I have acquired another laptop and I noticed this difference when I click a different topic that it will not change. I like that change because I don’t have to remember what I have already looked at.

If any of you windows 7 users can help me with this I would appreciate it.

I have tried Google and it cannot analyze my question to give me an answer or I do not know how to form the question correctly.

Thanks for any help,
DePratt

Are you saying:
- On my old laptop
When I opened the Ugly Hedgehog Photography Forum Digest and clicked on a topic the color would change.
-Now I have a new laptop
And the color doesn't change

Have you tried to Refresh the page?
- As a side, I suggest you use the options at the top of the screen.

( Correct as stated )

Have you tried to Refresh the page?

( Yes )

( Options won't do it )

Answers in above quote ^

I have the same situation while I am in craigslist .

Both laptops have the same version window 7 loaded by me and no personal tweaking of any controls.

Both are I5 processors

Both have same memory 6 gigs

the newer laptop has backlighted keyboard that works better at night when I am most online or otherwise working on it.

That is why my question was asked I am in a quandary why one would work differently than the other

" As a side, I suggest you use the options at the top of the screen."

What I meant was, ignore the Digest and use the website options at the top of the screen; such as, Newest Topics. Cheers! S-

Thank you St3v3M,

That is a good way to get around the problem.

It will not help me to understand why the difference is there.

I will continue searching for an answer and if I find it I will post it here.

Again thank you,

visited links suddenly no longer change colour. I've tried all the suggestions on the posts, but they have not worked. Browsing is now difficult.

Thank you St3v3M for your patience and desire to help others understand things.

The new computer while installing Firefox somehow decided that it was in my best interest not to remember history.

I changed Firefox to remember history and I got the change of color of items in a list that I have already visited and is what I was looking for.

Again thank you for your assistance.

Again an old dog has learned a new trick!
