Several HDR images, the tugs from a single RAW image, Connaught Place, New Delhi, from three RAW images. I use Photomatix. I like the painting-like look.

I Love the tugs. You are a master of effects.
I like that effect a lot. Good job.
HDR is my favorite presentation. I don't do enough of it. Love the dramatic presentation of both photos. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks. I am discovering that not every photo makes a good HDR image. It needs to be a strong photo to begin with. The usual beach and sunset pictures may be colorful, but they get old. I like to include people in city scenes. But I like them small and engaged in the scene. Good composition is just as important in HDR as anywhere. And dynamic images are better than static. That said, the tugs may be too static for a good image.

Hi olydon. Your photo of the tugs on the Hoquiam river grabbed my attention real quick. I have worked for the Little Hoquiam Ship yard since 1974 and we launch our boats in the Little Hoquiam river and sail them down the Hoquiam river into the Chehalis river. From there to the mouth of the river into Westport. We just launched our latest fishing vessel, the Andy Sea this last week and run sea trials in the Chehalis river. I have the job of taking videos and photos of the event besides welding, machining, fabricating, installing engines, shafts, and steering systems. You have posted the first photos of Hoquiam that I've seen since I joined Ugly Hedgehog . Really enjoyed them. Thanks, Tom

Thanks. I lived on the Harbor for a number of years and found a lot of photo ops there. I'll be back in June to spend a few days and hope to add to my collection.
