Here are a few shots caught in classic fashion.
Train leaves with a flash.
Train half-way to the next station.
Train on its way to this station, with a tail.
From the inside of the car, you can see the other waiting subway trains waiting to get started.

Another nice assortment.
Thank you Jerry. I believe it's easier to take pictures when you have interest in the subject :)
Great way to spend a quiet morning. I never think of NYC being tranquil. Gary

Dear Gary: You really need to come out when it's early to see how tranquil the Great City is. Of course, it's well before rush hour but sometimes, if you close your eyes and listen, you'll be surprised at how quiet it is and how peaceful an experience the City is. I do all the time. Of course, right now, it's not nearly as tranquil as during the early hours, but, that's the price of being a New Yorker at this time of the day. :) Many people have trouble eliciting the idea of peace and New York in the same sentence, but I can tell you it has moments of silence that one savors. Especially when you know the not-so-tranquil moments.

Another nice set Dave!
Thanks so much Erv. I have always been a tranquil fanatic since I was very very little all those years ago. So, when I take pictures of trains, I pay particular attention :)
