this little lady was sitting on a concrete seawall next to a local marina on Saturday... i stopped about 60 feet away and got a couple of shots, then moved closer, about 40 feet, and got a couple of nice close shots. so unusual for a kingfisher to allow people that close, but she was intent on watching the water below. i had time for about 4 shots before she flew off... 600mm, 1/1000 @ f/11
