Beautifully done, the atmosphere is tangible.

Would that be the famous Los Angeles atmosphere - where you can actually see what you're breathing?

A really nice atmospheric shot. For straight out of camera almost that's amazing. Love it.

Thanks. I just raised exposure by 1/2 stop. With the Leica M Monochrom I have the camera always set to underexpose by 1/3 stop. The camera has no color channels, so if highlights are blown, they are blown forever, but since there is so much detail in the shadows underexposure is the rule for all MM shooters.

Its a CCD as opposed to a CMOS sensor, and there is no bayer color array so it have a very unique way of rendering. Its also an uncoated, ancient lens with a lot of spherical aberration, so a very different look from modern coated and corrected lens.

Oh, it was also shot through a not particularly clean window.

Didn't understand the photographic mumbo-jumbo, but this sure is one great photo!

Thanks. The mumbo-jumbo is the equipment used, and that I didn't much of anything on the computer to change what the camera recorded.

Love the mood. A very strongly "seen" subject. Good job.
