This afternoon: Coopers Hawk & Blk. Grackle
Quite windy today so I set up the camera near my office window(open).
I got the shot of the grackle earlier. I got up from the computer to check the activity at the feeders. There was none because a Coopers Hawk was about 25'' away perched on my garden fence. He startled me as much as I startled him. He went into the bushes then after a few minute appeared on a branch. When he flew off I couldn't follow him while the camera was on the tripod. by the time I got it off he was gone. No BIF! Got these shots about 100' away. I am happy to see there are young ones around.
Beautiful shots! You sure caught the colors nicely in that grackle.
