There is a banner ad on this site "Smart Photo Editor" which is pretty neat. You can get a free trial buy clicking on the ad . It's a fun place to play around with your pics for special effects. I subscribed a couple of days ago and have been having a ball ever since.

Dirtpusher: OK, since this is a place to learn, please help me out.I thought you didn't have to worry about that stuff if you had an Apple. Guess I was wrong. First of all I really don't know what malware is. Secondly, I used to have a PC and I frequently got viruses which came through both McAfey & Norton. I have had this Apple for three years without any problems. I looked over your link an saw several sites where I could buy this type of protection for my Mac. I guess the question is, if I haven't had a problem, why shold I buy this type of software? Thanks for your help.

I downloaded from the website, just to try, and it was clean. I very seldon download from a banner ad. It's cheap at $19.00, but kinda limited in my estimation. I like Topaz a 1000 times better, but costs are 10 times more for topaz, but it's more versatile than Smart Photo.

apple used to be pretty good about no viruses i have known couple hackers they all said most hackers stayed off apple stuff because of bill gates they felt had done to apple man. but now the new hackers dont follow the same rules. now its an agenda a victory. myself i got webroot it goes off real easy but i have it cranked down pretty tight.

renomike: you are right. It's more of a fun program to mess around with a lot of special effects rather than a serious editing program.
