very funny,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I just haven't seen one of these before smarty pants!
One thing it is - - it's beautiful. . .
Nice picture!
It's either a young or female cardinal. Cardinals winter over in New England.I just saw a beautiful full red male at the feeder this morning in New Hampshire.

This it is. Have them in my yard as well.
Males at this time are in full color trying to get a "Date".
It appears to be a leucistic cardinal. Look it up; an albino bird would be all white. Leucism is a condition where a portion of the animal lacks coloration. I saw a grayish crow in the yard not long ago and checked on line to find out what it was. Your bird is quite beautiful!

I have a female that visits my feeders that also has some red in her.
Or maybe it is a hermaphrodite cardinal trying to date its self :-D

The Northern Cardinal (leucistic) is a familiar resident of the eastern and central US, Arizona, southern New Mexico, parts of southeastern Canada, and Mexico. The poster is in CT.
It is a pretty bird, anyway.
this bird has simular makings to a Pyrrhuloxia, only thing is this bird is seen generally in the Rio Grande area. Sorry I can't help you at this time.....nice shot

I donno.
But I feed a mob of Hummingbirds and have definitely seen many that appear to be cross breeds of Anna's and Alan's.
So I would not be surprised if it was some of that monkey business.

Your bird is a partial albino.

It is definitely a Cardinal, isn't it beautiful! I'm glad you got the photo. I have never seen one like this, but we did used to see a brown squirrel with an all white tail!
How unusual. Thanks for sharing!
