Couldn't find the one I remembered - was made out of PVC and designed to fold up easily to a flat form for storage.

you need an 18% grey card and do a custom white balance. ( if your camera has this feature ) Colors will be dead on. For all my product shots I custom white balance, meter and shoot all the products on manual. Works perfect. Don't worry about your "BOX". I use pieces of junk foamcore for fill. It doesn't have to be fancy to work.
