That is as close as I could get in Birds of North America. Appreciate help in identifying, it has been showing up in the holly bush behind by bedroom window for the last couple of days. Don't know if it migrating or a permanent resident.
Yellow Throated Warbler I Think
Yellow Throated Warbler?
Yellow Throated Warbler?
Thanks Brian in Whitby. I was debating that choice and I believe you are correct. Went back and checked the book. Thanks for the look and the info.

The Encyclopedia of North American shows it as a Yellow Throated Warbler. The Palm Warbler coloring is different.
Yellow throated gets my vote.
The auburn on the top of the head confirms Palm Warbler. Also look again at the larger area of yellow on the Yellow-throated in the book.
