Hi Sonny thanks for the compliment and yes these photos are shot through the Meade 8" scope without an eyepiece.
I also have 2 eyepieces I can use to magnify quite a bit more with. Thanks for reminding me of those I need to start using them.
The eyepieces are 17mm & 10mm.

Hi Craig,I'm curious about the eyepieces 10&17 does your camera fit right on to the eyepiece? never heard of that before I have a 2x barlow that my camera can fit into.But there's a lot of stuff I don't know about.

Yes same principle as the Barlow 2x. Celestron makes a series of Lenses . ULTIMA DUO EYEPIECE that your camera T-ring adapter fits right to it.
The others 2 require an additional adapter.
Baader 1.25" & 2" Hyperion Modular Eyepiece
And GSO 1.25" or 2" Camera Projection SuperView Photography Eyepiece.
