Did a search and did not see any previous posting that Paul C. Buff died last week at 78. If this was already announced on the forum somewhere, I apologize for the repetition.

It was announced, yesterday I think, but thank you anyway. I have had some of his stuff for thirty years and still going strong.

I know about his Alien Bees, Einsteins and other lighting gear but just recently found out he was involved with producing audio gear in his early years. So sad to die so young.
