Frequency Separation Using PSE 11

A UHH search did not provide an answer. A Google search turned up several links. However they all indicate the starting point is "Scripts" that is found on the "Effects" drop down panel. No "Scripts" there. I also searched all main drop down menus to no avail. Am I wasting my time? Or is there a step I am missing?

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

I may be completely off the target, but I'm thinking that like Actions, PSE can run Scripts, but not record them.

Thanks MS for responding. I am not trying to record a script. The links I have seen lead me to understand that there are a number preset scripts. The one I need is for Portraits where I then could choose to create two layers with high pass and low pass filters.

Like you can find many Actions on the 'net, either for free or for pay, I wonder if that is the way to go for scripts as well.

I had on my computer, to use from withing PSE, a program called Elements+
If you go to this website:
http://elementsplus.net/ and scroll down about half-way, there is a section comparing Scripts in the various versions.

On the same website, different page:
http://video-books.net/
is a section called "Script Arsenal"
You can download the trial version for free.

I don't currently have Elements+ on my computer (lost it in a mishap recently), and have never had "Script Arsenal".
I miss Elements+ though, and will have to find the back-up of that program to re-install.

BINGO! Thanks again MS. Plan to buy both items. That should keep me busy on a learning curve for the remainder of my life.

Morning Star you have opened a lot of doors with the ref programs. If you do not get many hits on this, then post it again under a different title... these two programs can make a big difference to a lot of people... including me!!

So this morning I sent an e-mail to the developer of Elements+ , explained that I had lost the add-on, and asked if he had kept the record of my purchases on file. I specifically asked for version 12 only, but in less than 5 minutes, I had links for installation files for versions 7, 9, and 12 in an e-mail in my inbox. Talk about fast service.

There are a handful of videos on YouTube, Googling for Andrei Doubrovski will get you to them fast.

This Fall I am planning to get PSE 14, and as soon as it is available, version 14 of Elements+ as well. Really, for $12, you can't lose!
