I have always been curious about this strange phenomenon, why would you even entertain the fact of opposing a God you don't even believe that exist?? Before I was a believer in God/Christ, I could not care less what they believed and why they believed.....it wasn't even in my thoughts....really...who cares what they believed in is what I thought.

"If God does not exist, shouldn't atheists just relax and seek a good time before they become plant food? Why should it matter if people believe in God?"

your right : the problem is when they start telling you which one to believe
and to a lot of them it matters . if your not there faith . how would you like it
if you were told by one faith , that your going to the wrong church , parish etc
I haven't met one atheist that has tried to throw his beliefs at me unless I ask on the other hand I have met a lot of people . telling me what faith and church I should be going to . most wars since the beginning of time are all started by one faith against another or several others . look at what's out there now a wacko faith that wants to kill every one on the planet that's not there faith . I have more faith in Santa claws that would be the same as all the other faiths .

I have been told by other peoples of faith that their religion was the right way, I just tell them the Jesus is the Way The Truth and the Life and nobody comes to the father but buy him. It does not bother me one way or another if they tell me their way is right. Why would an atheist throw his "belief" on anyone, they claim it's not a belief.....they say it's a non belief period. I do have to correct you on one other error, more people have been murdered in the name of atheism than in the name of God or gods. It's such a misconception to claim what you just have claimed. I provided an extensive list of mass murders perpetrated in the name of Government atheism/communism.

I dont believe atheists hate God after all how can you hate someone you dont believe exists. What fascinates me is how atheists seem to go after Christians with such fervor and yet say little to nothing about Islam which is by far more extreme in their edicts, fascinating.

I believe atheist deny the existence of God because they would have admit to His authority over them. Religions other than Christianity is not a threat to them. Notice how much they talk about religious leaders and the Bible being use to control the population? Even that the Bible was written to control us. The more we speak out in defense of our faith, the harder they press their issues.

your wrong on all counts there . they don't care one way or the other . the
authority you speak of doesn't even exist in a non believers mind . it's the church goers that are up tight . a non believer is free of all that crap he doesn't worry one way about it . in fact they will tell you al the more power to

Who is forcing you or anyone else from clicking and reading posts about God and or religion? You want Christians to keep their belief in God to themselves, yet atheists come into posts about God just to oppose what they don't believe in......so in reality...are atheists forcing their belief or unbelief upon me and other believers? Yes I agree there are many money grabbers on religious TV shows and churches, there are also many no believer money grabbers taking from people as well.
