You may have heard about the awful occurrence here in Colorado where a woman slit open a pregnant woman's belly to steal here unborn baby. Baby died, but the woman did survive.

Here is the reason for that as explained by this extreme right-wing "christian" a$$ hole.

He is as bad as Pat Robertson.

I am a conservative but that doesn't mean I condone this kind of idiocy. There are crazys on both side of the political spectrum. As an aside, I believe that women should have the right to abortion within the first 2 trimesters, but not in the third unless there is a serious risk of health of the mother. Ans the so called late term abortions should be illegal. And that allowing "live birth abortions" to be left to die shoud be regarded as murder. One other thing to consider is that since Roe V wade about 50 million abortions have been performed. We have lost an entire generation. It has been a holocost of outrageous proportion.

How have we "lost" an entire generation of children when there are too many as there is? I'm saying there "must" be too many children because Congress is taking away the programs to feed them. I'm sure that many nights there are children who go to sleep hungry because their parents cannot/will not feed them. This nation should be more interested in feeding the children who are born rather than worry about WOMEN'S CHOICES. Abortion shouldn't bother you at all because it's NOT YOUR BUSINESS. Women can have abortions because it's NOT YOUR BUSINESS. Why do repubs get themselves tied in knots when it comes to the womb?????

Rep. Gordon seems to have made quite a name for himself. See his other "godly, bibley" statements:

Thanks for posting.

I hope this doesn't come as too big a shock Donna so be sure you're sitting down. Here goes, are you sitting down? There are actually a fair amount of liberals who are pro life. Yes mamm that's correct, left wing pro lifers so maybe what we need to do is come up with a derogatory name that is just aimed at pro life advocates regardless of their party affiliation.

BTW: I'm a conservative who also felt like throwing up when I read that story.

That doesn't surprise me, there's all kinds of stupid. No intelligent woman would vote for a party who wants to take a woman's choice away. I'll bet there aren't just a few of those women who had abortions. You DO know there are quite a few repub women who've had abortions, don't you? Don't worry, they don't tell their hubbys because women learned a long time ago to just shut up about some things and let their husband think he knows everything.

I knew one catholic woman (you know, the ones who don't use birth control cuz jesus or the pope said so) anyhow, one catholic woman took her pregnant 16 yr. old to England for an abortion. Her husband, repub remember, was the district attorney. Couldn't have that! :D

Those christians really practice what they preach! And do they preach, see some wayward ones around here on UHH.

Donna, there are elected Republicans who are pro choice. I will concede that the vast majority of pro life advocates are conservatives and the vast majority of liberals are pro choice. I was once again trying to point out that you tend to judge groups rather than individuals. If you were to be honest with yourself you'd recognize there are nuts on both sides of just about every issue you care to name. Extremists are not prone to any ideology.

I bet you I can name a minimum of 50 well known women who are pro-life and more intelligent than you are....to call people stupid is stupid in it's self.

Most Liberals are really not pro-choice, they are pro-abortion.

So you said before that you are not a Liberal yet all your political posts are negative in tone towards the Conservatives and NEVER to the Liberal side........sounds like you are not intellectually honest.

P.S. If I am wrong about this, I will retract what I said and apologize, but it does appear you are not being honest.

No Neil, that may be how you see it because I'm pro-abortion and defend it here, I had one and think this should be left open as an option. Always. Most liberal women want the decision to be made by them. No other person has an input, it's the woman's choice. As long as a woman has to carry the baby, that should be the case.

Republican men in our country get all spastic about women, not having the faintest idea that a woman is more than a vessel to carry children. Believe me, if men were able to get pregnant, the first time they had morning sickness would be their last. Republican women do get abortions but pray afterwards because they think they lost the free pass into heaven, I have an aunt like that.

Fair enough. I am conservative on some issues and liberal on others. This post is neither - just pointing out what a moron this guy is. He gives conservatives and republicans and humans a bad name. I abhor the far left as much as I abhor the far right.

Maybe you missed it but I did - and will again - point out what idiots the liberal here in Colorado are when they voted to limit magazines to 15 rounds. Representative Diana DeGette did not even know what a magazine was! She actually said that once the higher capacity magazines were used up, they would be gone. If I thought limiting magazine capacity really would stop the next mass shooting, I'd go along...but of course it has noting to do with it. So yes, liberal can be just as stupid.

No apology needed. I know it is tough here to be on both sides of the issues as it seems everyone is firmly in one camp or the other.

OH don't I know lol, I was a staunch Conservative Republican just a short time ago. Really was sick of the lies from the far Left, then I examined some on the far right and realized some of them are just as bad at the lying. One of the reasons I can't stand to hear or see the Sean Hannity's of the Left and the right, my blood boils seeing hannity because of his dishonesty. I really think it's time for an Independent to become President and even in partial control of Congress, we need a change away from both parties.
