Up until today, skin smoothing in PSP x6 worked as advertised.. Suddenly in the midst of editing a number of images, (all from the same shoot) it simply stopped.. The skin smoothing drop-down box opened...and the progress marker moved across as expected. However... no smoothing was evident in either the drop-down box image or on the main image..yet when I came to close the image, although nothing seemed to have changed..I was asked if I wanted to save it... . Has anyone experienced this before.. and if they have ...can they explain why this has suddenly happened and what is the remedy.. Thanks in advance...

I had a similar issue with one of the other tools. After asking and researching I reset the program back to the defaults and everything came back. I am using 7 Ultimate but that should work for you as well.. Don't know why it happened, but the reset fixed it...Hope this helps...
