For any of you guys that are Interested, there is a excellent review on Amazon, of the P900.....and some very nice first photo examples, If your Interested in purchaseing it, check it out, I think you will truly like, what you see.....Especially you lucky guys, that get to shoot those amazing Eagle shots!!
I read the write-up on Amazon, it's very similar to what they have on the Nikon site. Looks like a fantastic camera, but so far I'm not impressed with the IQ at full zoom. Also, does the end of the lens have threads for filters? You folks better hurry though, Amazon is down to only 1 let in stock.
Yes, James, The camera, takes a 67MM Filter, which IncidentlyI put on mine, I"m going to try using a polarizer as well, once the weather gets warmer here in the northeast....

Thanks, thats a great feature when the lens itself has threads. I use a polarizer a lot.

Tiny sensor, large size, photos look soft at higher zooms. I have a Canon SX50HS which I rarely use. Not happy with IQ at higher zooms and the image doesn't hold up well in post processing. Typical of super zoom bridge cameras. For me, not interested. If you are happy with it, that is all that matters.
exactley so, however, for what it is, it takes excellent photos......
