Is there a way to use multiple songs in Lightroom's slideshow? This feature has been in Elements since at least 10 so I hope I'm missing something in not being able to figure it out in Lightroom 5.7.

I just had the same question as I had previously used Pro Show Gold for videos and they do have multiple music capabilities. However, I have changed to a Mac in the last year and Pro Show Gold does not have a Mac version. I searched the internet and numerous sources said that LR does not allow for multiple pieces of music. Very disappointing to me and seems like Adobe would modify the program to allow for this as it is a key element in slideshows.

Yes, that is what I found as well. I was hoping I was missing something with the newer updates.

Elements allows you to put multiple songs on the timeline as you wish. I can use it to make future slideshows when necessary but wanted to avoid the steps necessary to do that.

I don't have Lightroom but : Will it allow you to use music that you create with free downloaded Audacity software. With Audacity you can combine songs into one MP3 File.

I cannot give you an answer on that. I have only tried to import individual songs and I know you can only do one of those.

It will take any single mp3. I'll look into Audacity...thanks.

Elements allows you to drop songs on the slide timeline; i.e. so you can start a new song with a particular slide. It would be fussy to do that with an external sound editor.
