Welcome to Day 70 :) Today we are going to take a look at Deep Depth of Field. Understanding Aperture (part 3). Still shooting in Aperture Priority, photograph anything
you wish... the trick is choosing the best fstop number to get the whole scene in focus. Use any focal length you want to, just remember the more you zoom in the further
away you will have to be in order to get it all in focus. Here are a few examples to get us started.

(AV) 28mm, f/5.6, ISO 200, 1/1250
(AV) 28mm, f/5.6, ISO 200, 1/1250...

(AV) 28mm, f/18, ISO 800, 1/400
(AV) 28mm, f/18, ISO 800, 1/400...

(AV) 250mm, f/32, ISO 100, 1/25
(AV) 250mm, f/32, ISO 100, 1/25...

(AV) 28mm, f/11, ISO 200, 1/320
(AV) 28mm, f/11, ISO 200, 1/320...

(AV) 28mm, f/11, ISO 200, 1/400

Great I CAN photo (not shoot) dogs at the dog show and will use Av for indoor shots, probably WB white fluorescent

My cousin was a dog show judge for decades and she said that sometimes she could shoot the owners!

If you can a shot of a Bassett, it would cheer her up as I would send it to her. She'll be 80 this year.

Here's one 18mm F/22 Focus point was at the end of the tracks, just above the tree line. Don't forget and use the download for extended view.
Found one of my daughter on the beach, I wanted the clouds to be in focus, so I chose f/13 and focus point was her face. Thought this f/stop gave the shot the depth I was looking for.

18mm f/22
18mm f/22...

18mm F/13
18mm F/13...

Nice grab. They no longer use spikes nowadays, they found something new and more expensive to do the same job.

Being as how I have two titanium knees I cannot get down that low. I'll try a similar shot on a bridge here, but I can't lay down, t'would take me 15 minutes to back up again.

Osa Peninsula for 4 or 5 days this yr. Going after the Harpy Eagle. Then down south near Panama and finish out near La Selva for all the birding and animals.
