Well guys, yesterday my favorite photography store Berger Bros... called me, and told me that they recieved a shipment,of Nikon"s newest camera the P900, they knew I wanted one, as so, I drove over there, and got to see and play with this newest addition to Nikons bridge camera line. The Camera is Large!.....and quite good looking
it takes a 67MM filter, which I put on my new purchase......
the zoom is beyond words!!........you start out at 2.8MM VR
and can zoom up to 2000 MM when you will be at 6.5 MM....
because of the weather, I havent been able to shoot, any good sample shots yet, but I will very soon, In the mean time, here is a photo of the camera P.S........My Nikon D800.will be getting quite a rest, with this newest addition, to my Camera Arsenal....

With the reach on that lens, you could shoot macro from half a mile away from your subject! At 2000mm, I'd offer this suggestion: use a tripod! ;)
Since you're the first owner here, I look forward to your comments.
Thanks!!.............Thats Excellent Advice........
I will most certainly , be trying that out as well, as I get familiar with my newest addition, to my camera arsenal
Thanks,Jerry..........I can tell you this, the camera is chock full of in camera editing.....and has various manual modes, as well as programed modes........, I"m truly looking forward to taking My newest addition to my Camera arsenel, on my next Cruise Vacation, and leaving my Heavy D800 Home......
stay tuned for sample shots, coming very soon!!
Good luck with it! I am thinking about getting one also although I really don't need another camera😄 I noticed in the review though that it doesn't shoot RAW, only jpeg.
True.........but it makes up, for that fact, with multiple features
with 16Megs and a 2000MM VR 2.8 Super Zoom......its most certainly
a camera, i would reccomend to you, it weighs 3 Lbs......has really nice, in camera editing..
and I"m sure I"m sure your back and neck, will be thankful for, and if you purchase one, its the perfect camera for vacations, I think
covering everything from Macro shots to 2000MM VR Zoom Shots, do I have you thinking yet??
Hmmmm - Would my backpack carry another camera?
Got me thinking

Trust me, it would!!..........and I"ll bet, it will very soon become, your favorite camera, at 3lbs your back, will thank you!!
and to have access to a 2000MM 2.8 Super Zoom VR
its a no brainer!
my D800 is going to get a rest!
Very nice. I really like the potential the f/2.8 aperture gives it. Looking forward to hearing your comments.
Stay Tuned, as I explore, all the features, the P900 Super Zoom has to offer........I will be posting some examples very soon.....
Want to see some images! Am I right that they still haven't added RAW to the latest superzoom? I've had the P90 and a P500 and that was my biggest knock on them. Great pictures, good VR and great zoom, but no RAW. Hope you enjoy your new toy...
