Reworking or re-seeing some of my old captures...
Sadly I was not shooting raw at the time... :hunf:
All files saved a PNG to avoid further deterioration.
Thoughts?
No need to be 'nice' or 'gentle' here.

Just my opinion. #3 is a major improvement, but there is still very little detail in the dark ring that surrounds the center. I'd use the Shadow/highlight control in PS to pull up the shadows a little. Don't overdo it to the point where the image starts to look flat and low in contrast.
My monitor is set far below maximum brightness because it has been profiled using the Color Munki. I set it dark since it then matches prints that I make. I might be seeing a darker image than you.
I too wish I had taken my older images in RAW mode.
Nice job, good color and focus.
Looks nice to me. You did make improvements.
I think #2 should be your final - as has been said, my :ideal" may be darker, but # 3 seems overly bright. Oh, and are you faking the raindrops? They seem too regular in size. I'm not a fan.
Raindrops are not faked, sorry.
