This is tonight's moon low on the horizon making it look quite orange, a very beautiful site. I took this shot at 9:19p.m. At 10:00 when I looked out the window the moon was much higher in the sky and looked white again. Glad I got to see it like this.
Nikon D300 70-300 f4.5-5.6 at 300mm f8 ISO-200 1/60th sec. Cropped and resized to 800x600 for the hog.
This really is the color it looked like tonight!

I took these a while back with my Pany FZ150 with a Nikon TC attached. Fun subject to photograph.... Yesterday I purchased Topaz Adjust software, and I've been fooling around with some of their presets. The psychedelic shot is of the same Full moon photo with Stylized BRASH selected as the filter. Kind of a cool surreal effect. ha.
