Loc: No Where and Every Where
Many of us when photographing will look for subjects that are appealing and if possible are going to create a beautiful image. Of course if you start with something that is beautiful it is not hard to make a good photo.
This challenge is going to be a little different. We are looking for the plain and not so attractive. Something that will take a little creativity to make interesting. The images do not need to be attractive in the true since of the word, however you want them to be interesting to the viewer.
For many years when I have had a creative brain block I photograph stumps. Today I started photographing signs to see if they could be photographed with some level of creativity. Here are some samples
This looks interesting, Richard. I'll need to think for a bit.

Don't think to hard Pat. I have seen many of our people do this unintentionally. Your marbles, Fred Ann's fishing shacks, Dan L's milkweeds, and Judy's barn she just posted. Then there are the two that do this intentionally, William and Creative Simon. Hopefully I will find a few more examples before this is over.

My husband tells me that I will take a picture of "anything!" I think he is right, but then, some of those pictures of "anything" have been some very interesting pictures.
a discarded typewriter in the grass
the windows on the side of an old barn that was falling down
How about a very old shoe left in an old house?
nails working their way out of the side of an old building
a knot in a picnic table by the lake. I could go on and on.

Thank you, I hope to join in more often. It's been awhile since I've felt a part of this site, and I miss all of the people here, and the fun of the challenge.
A great challenge Bushido---will keep an eye out for nothing and try to make it something!!!!

From not appealing to definitely not appealing
I'm not sure if I have posted these before or not, but I think they fit the challenge.
