Yes all that crackling static really enhances the music!
The band Bloodstone has a red album also
Thanks for all the comments - I have been an LP record listener since the late 60's (ya Hendrix days) ... and had many many LP's over the years - lots of them got lost (as did many things in the 70's) ... and just recently over the past few years have I started to rebuild my collection - thrift stores are a favorite haunt of mine and I have picked up some real gems - (as in good playable condition) ... I have a fairly good turntable - so hiss's, crackles, and pops are kept to a minimum - and I don't mind spending the extra few dollars for a copy that is in mint condition ... the discogs web site is another favorite place (it's like the ebay of records) ... but recently I have found a record shop really close to me that has reasonable prices and an awesome choice ... so, that is my new favorite haunt.
All those 'useless' records needed to be put to use ... so I came up with this idea ... and got a bit carried away - so now I have 5 clocks and various food bowls littered around ... they will probably find their way back to a thrift store :) ... eventually
