save your lunch money and shop carefully for a good used lens.
You will be happier.

I think the only adapter ever made for this was made by Bower, it was huge (looked almost like a lens in it's own), and they are hard to find these days. I would just get another lens (Nikon). You'll be happier in the end!

Thanks thats what I thought. Jim
No.
If you don't have a Canon camera to use it on, I'd suggest you sell off the Canon lens and put the money towards a Nikkor or a third party lens made for Nikon.
Vintage Nikon lenses (and many lenses from other manufacturers) can be adapted for use on modern Canon cameras. In part, the Canon EF/EOS mount was designed with this in mind.
However, the opposite is not true. There are limited other lens mounts that can be adapted to use on Nikon F-mount.
In addition, modern lenses are largely electronically controlled... both auto focus and the lens aperture... making them far less interchangeable... impractical at best, impossible in most cases.
Hi there you can get a converter that will help you put any lens on your camera. I have use old canon fd lens with my ed lens body this way.
