Hi Erv, thanks for looking and commenting. I would estimate the heigth at about 80-90'tall.the fire department was practicing with their high pressure hoses on it the day before i got there. They were trying to knock it down. They also tried to knock it down with cables wrapped around it. that failed also.

Thanks Mike. Very cool to see stuff like that. It is hard to believe how strong ice is. Our rivers are breaking up right now and the ice is really wreaking things as it goes down river.:(

I have to change my estimate of the heigth of the ice. I read an article in todays paper about it, and it said it was 51' tall. IMy estimate was really off. Sorry about that.
