Has anyone besides me broke off the little screw nob holding the hood on the lens of the Sigma 150-600 Sport?

Not on any of the 6 I have had my hands on. But they are under warranty if it happens.

Thanks, it was a rental from Lensrental. Only thing I was not impressed with. That lens was fantastic.

In that case, ignore the issue. Who knows how many times it has been rented to others or how it has been handled by them, or even how many times it has been dropped in shipping.

Only thing I did not like about the great and sharp lens.
Will be purchasing the Contemporary model when I can get it. Was not put off by the weight, handheld it all the time with my 7Dii and battery grip
