A CNET On-Line email advertised a deal from 42ndStPhoto on a Canon Rebel SL1 DSLR 18 MP camera with an 18-55 MM lens for $459.00 or the body for $369.00. What are other "Hoggers" thoughts about the deal and store? Here's the link:

Stay away from 42nd St. You can search and find many bad experiences with them here on UHH.

While you are checking, have a look at the ratings/experience reports with the Canon Rebel SL1 which I think was Canon's initial offering in that class.

Thanks for responding Don-RC, I'm looking for an entry level DSLR, the SL1 seems to have been surpassed by both Canon and Nikon with better offerings.
