I went to my favorite spot for sunrise this morning.I have been so busy with work and home improvements it's been three weeks since I was able to go out and shoot glad I did. I got there and noticed a very large log that have drifted a shore from one of the recent storms. I studied this log and the shot for a good 5 minutes. I then laid down on my stomach to get as low as I could took the shot. I then took another shot with my flw filter on my tokina 11 to 16. I liked the way the scene looked and was hoping to get the correct composition. This is the final image. The flw filter is one of my favorite. This was very higly reccomended by Brian Peterson on adorama tv. I have had this filter for about a year and just love it. Please download to get the full effect of the filter.

Really enjoyed your sunrise picture. As an amateur at this, also appreciated your description of how you obtained the shot.

Very nice, love the lighting in the foreground from the sun, very subtle with the filter. A wall hanger that I would put on my wall...
