This is a quick overview of St. Thomas U.S. Virgin Islands. Some with the old lens some with the new.

Love the views of the islands, Mike. Dajon looks like he's having a good time visiting with you!
He was having fun (perhaps too much because Mom ended up scolding him about something) and he asked to take a picture of me which caused me some hesitation since this wasn't too long after I had dropped my camera and broken the lens but I put the strap around his neck and he managed to get a very unflattering shot featuring my right nostril.
He was pleased with it but it's one of those shots that won't be shared. :)
If I could crop out the very well focused and grossly exaggerated double chin I would think about it, actually the nostril angle was the least of my worries. :?
You're too much, Mike. It's about my bedtime especially with the time change tonight!

I hear you. Went to bed early and still manage to get up late. Sometimes you just need to play catch up.

Thank you Rena. It always makes me feel like I've accomplished a step or two in the right direction when folks like you, who take much better pics than I, take the time to comment. Sometimes the light at the end of the tunnel ISN'T a train. :)

He was full of piss and vinegar that's for sure. I have another shot of him crawling through the stools at the bar. Maybe that was what Mom was squealing at him for because I actually called her over at one point to make sure that he wasn't getting in trouble for me letting him have my camera. She assured me that it had nothing to do with us but he was banished to the back room anyway.

Thanks Sirius. He made us miss the brood at home and maybe when he grows up he will remember that someone let him use their camera and it will fuel something artistic. God, I'm such an incurable optimist. :)

Optimism is good
