New dog photo's-B&W

I saw some photo's printed on slate yesterday, came home and turned a few of my dog photo's to B&W to get one. One for now, maybe 5x9,
$22.95. I put the vignetting on them to separate them from the gray slate.

These shots look like they'll make great prints. I've never seen photos printed onto slate - how well does the fine detail survive the grainy texture of the slate?

From what I saw it's very good. Gonna decide which one and drop it off Monday. Just got done making a frame for one. Saw a frame down there with rope on it so decided to see what I could do with it. Now if I ever get the card to read in the computer, I'll post a framed 8x10 I did with one.
