Can anyone tell me how to resize a photo, and without distorting the image? I would like to resize to 6.5 by 4.5. Thanking you in advance.

Woops! I messed it up by trying to do it myself. I'll try to send the original if I haven't destroyed it. :)

I assume that's 6.5 inches by 4.5 inches.

What size is the original? If the original doesn't have the same aspect ratio you'll have to crop to resize to your desired size.

What you have is square and you want a rectangle and you do do not want to distort it. Sounds like you should run for congress. :-)

Yes, and as far as the original all I can tell you is it was taken with a Canon 7D and is in iphoto. That's the best I can tell you.

Your software should have a cropping tool. Select it and set the size of the crop to 6.5x4.5 at whatever dpi you choose to use.

When you crop using the crop tool it will resize the portion of the image you select with the tool.

Your software should also have a "Resizing" tool.
