If you are so inclined, there is rarely a lack of things to do on a cruise ship. I left out the Casino, Bingo and the Lounge/Bar areas since they don't change much. Also left out are the restaurants and dining rooms - everybody eats.

This bar changed floors every 45 minutes or so.

Really neat, Mike! I wasn't aware that they had all that on cruise ships!

I would recommend the Norwegian Breakaway since it leaves from New York PLUS you get to look at the Max artwork on the hull.

We prefer to leave from Miami or one of the Florida ports, you tend to get more ports of call.

Cruising is one of those things where you either love or hate it but look at it this way, it's basically a floating hotel with meals included.

It's hard to go wrong in the Caribbean although our daughter and son in law were not real impressed by Barbados and St. Kitts.

Lifestyles of the rich and famous.. Great shots Mike.
Maybe some day when I grow up I'll do one of these.
Thanks for sharing so we can see how the other side lives.

Remember that this one was realatively cheap (except for the new art we bought). Except for the lens I broke, we only spent about $500.

Wow, that sounds like a great deal.
I happen to love art myself... and I like to buy new lenses too.

I just prefer to buy lenses because I want to and not because I have to.

I know, it kind of sucked and folks (besides you) have been talking about a Sigma 17-70 that I would MUCH rather have had than another Nikkor 18-55 but I did get VRII out of this one and they do ok with bright light. It's on my Christmas wish list. :)

The huge ones are called Megaships and rightly so. They really are floating cities.

If you stop and think about the fact that there were almost 2500 people on that ship whose sole purpose was to make our time special, it boggles the mind. Thanks for popping in for a look, I am glad to be able to share these with you guys.

The Oasis of the Seas is a Royal Caribbean ship. Still new enough to be quite nice and getting on and off was WAY better than I though it would be. The buggers were so efficient that we had to spend 8 hours sitting in the airport waiting for our flight.

If you would like to book the ship that is currently the largest thing floating in the Caribbean, check out the Allure of the Seas. It's a whopping 1 inch longer than the Oasis. :)

Aside from the fact that my wife says I glow in the dark, the days of my fat bum in a bathing suit is all but gone.

Besides, I wouldn't want to traumatize the paying customers. :)
