Hard to tell how big that thing is, but it looks big and if it's a constrictor like I think it is I wouldn't go near it, club or no club!
If you have ever seen how fast those can wrap around you ......it's scary !

Check out the diamond pattern on its back and then look at the tip of its tail. You should be able on download and then enlarging to see a nub of a rattle. People tell me that rattlesnakes can indicate their age by the number of rattles on their tail but sometimes they break off. Also check out the shape of its head and heavy fat body for its length. It is a rattlesnake.
