Hello, is there any particular reason you are selling this unit? I have a Sony a77 and have considered this flash but hesitate due to to cost, seems high. Looking for honest opinions on the unit.
Thanks

Good morning....this is a flash that is so sturdy and well-made that when I reluctantly decided to replace my Sony system with a Nikon (a line I've used for 50 over years), I went so far as to see if there was any way I could "adapt" this flash to work with my backup Nikon D-300 or my main FF Nikon D700. That's how impressed I am with this flash. It's versatile, very well-built and has a heft and feel that makes my Nikon SB700 flash feel like an inferior unit.

I, too, was put off by the price of this unit....as I recall in the $500 range. I was fortunate enough to find a listing on Craig's List of a gentleman who had just purchased this flash but was victim of a home robbery losing most of his Sony equipment and decided not to replace his loss. Fortunately, he was spared losing his brand new Sony flash but put it up for sale at a reduced price just to clear it out.

I've had nothing but good service from the unit and would highly recommend this to anyone with a Sony who has the need for a dependable, workhorse of a flash.

By the way, if you're interested, the gentleman I bought it from had fired it about a half a dozen times to test it before being robbed. I used the unit as a back-up very sparingly on my Sony A7, so the unit is pristine and virtually still brand-new as far as use and condition. I hope this helps you. Jim
