Yes, one can get pretty close up.. It is a great festival

Not at the festival. though it was booked for my 70th birthday!Sometimesthe weather causes cancellations of the flights and it was nearly time for the next festival when we finally managed to make another booking and settled for a flight over BATH, I would have preferred somewhere I didnt know quite so well but if you dont manage to do a flight within 12 months you lose it!!I got loads of superb photos of the buildings and country side. It was almost a mini festival as our balloons were joined by ones that were due to take off from Bristol Only a few miles away but the weather there was not suitable for take off. Had two more flights when doing the Nile Cruise with a friend They hadnt had anyone book "2" flights before but it was relatively cheap and I couldnt resist making the most of it!
