Great shot! I've never had any of those around here. Looks like they're in a crabapple tree. I know they're berry eaters. The closest thing I have is a holly bush, but it's almost completely buried in snow, as I'm sure you can appreciate. Unless they bring a shovel, they'll never be here!

Thank you, it was a pleasant surprise while we were out and yes this winter has been incredible and I am sure a huge impact on wildlife.

Thanks, I used a Cannon 70D with the Sigma 120 - 400. They really cooperated with me and allowed me to get pretty close.

Beautiful capture of some beautiful birds. Enjoyed the ones on your site, too!
I rarely get to enjoy Cedar Waxwings, but several years ago I "caught" six in a persimmon tree in our yard. Caught one sharing a persimmon with a robin!
