Up Close Big Horn Ram Pics

The pics with the full sized ram or rams was shot with a powerful 70mm lens which really fails on the magnification side of subject. The head only was shot with about a 450mm lens. Think you'll find good clarity in that pic. These were shot on last week's trip to Yellowstone Good wolf pics on this trip were not available despite many hours on site.

Great shots Robin. Such a regal animal. Love seeing the thick winter furs on them this time of year. They look healthy and in their prime.

I'm envious that you are so close and have the opportunity to visit the park frequently.

Their horns are the real inspiration to me. The ram on the left and bottom pics 3&4 has just about a full curl. It's really a tough decision to go to YNP Or Glacier NP. You do what 'cha gotta do. Thanks for looking and commenting

Thanks for looking and glad you like #1. If you haven't done so look at him down loaded. The detail is fantastic in the way it shows the details. It kinda blew what's left of my mind.
