The jay shots are nicely timed. You are right, a bit faster shutter speeds to improve the image. The Jay is a Scrub Jay. The Blue Jay is found on the Eastern part of the USA.
They are tough to get any shots of, so my congratulations.

That is a beautiful series you did with the "Glad I planted the Quince"

Good set Craig! Better than I can do. Especially those smaller birds, are very difficult to capture in flight!

I have been trying for months to get him in flight with my D600.
Now I have a D800E I'm having much better success.
