Welcome to Day 65 :). Today let's do something simple. Flowers. They always brighten my day .. and with winter hanging on so long .. maybe it will brighten yours too.
Well I say simple but flowers seem to be my nemesis. I can never get them close enough or sharp enough. I don't own a Macro lens. So extreme closeups are pretty much
out of the question for me. Plus I keep trying to shoot them handheld instead of with a tripod. It's not like I don't know better ... maybe I'm just lazy LOL.
So paint them, photograph them, photoshop them, grab them from your archives. Flowers, flowers and more flowers.
Here are a few examples to get us started.

Like the milkweed...haven't seen milkweed in YEARS!
I can wait easily for spring. Spring means honey-do's, yardwork and more honey do's, most of them are only to keep me from going fishing.
not too much going on here in flower land...but i have an idea for the day that might work..if I have time.
for now im digging in the archives....i sent janice a crocus yesterday or day before and I do have a quince think it is called budding but thats about all i see around here now.
First is a pic I took in Italy...years ago...
second is last years attempt to do something like it here at home.
cant wait to go at it again this year.
