It's like a Timex.....
....it takes a cold beating but keeps on working.
Got up this morning to record breaking temps since the 1800's for the month of February . In Toledo at 8:00 a.m. it was -17. Here in Erie it was -12. At 1:00 p.m. here it Erie it has made it's way up to 12! The best thing is the sun is out.
And yes Rems and I were out playing. Was not for very long
but you have to keep your buddy happy
And that bird bath is still keeping the water drinkable or bath ready. Seen the birds drinking but no one taking a bath.

Brrrrr that looks cold Camshy.
Thanks for stopping by Earnest. Yes -17 or-12 can be a little cold!
Now we have snow moving in for tomorrow could be around 5 inches or so. Depends on who you listen to.
My gosh Mary, what a nasty time you all have had!
Try some brightness and contrast adjustments on your front-door frost photo. That could be a beauty!

I like the ice crystals on the door window.
Burrrrr........ Burrrrrrrrrrr... Burrrrrr....
that's all I have to say!!!
And here I thought our one degree was freezing!!
Great shots Mary, love those ice crystals on your door!
Can you imagine if a bird did decided to take a bath, he would freeze up in a second!! Hope no one falls in!
Enjoyed them all, but stay inside and think warm thoughts!!!
..it's 14 here now at 3pm :(
:-D :-D :-D
Good set Camshy and I agree about the ice crystals, they look great.
Thanks for looking Linda. I just keep thinking it could be worse. Spring will be here soon.
Hey feel free to adjust my font door if you like! I am not good at doing and thing like that!
Thanks for stopping by Karin, glad you like my frosting! I am sure you are not that much warmer then us.
Thanks for stopping by Angela. Yeah it was a little cold this morning. LOL. Not sure when we will get near the 32 again. Suppose to be cold all next week by what they are showing now. Snow for tomorrow.
If I see any birds in there I will get them and bring them in But so far no bathers, a few drinkers.
Hey you stay inside and stay warm too!
Thanks for looking Jim. Glad you liked them.
I am shocked that the whole door was not like that for as cold as it got!

Thanks for looking Bob. Yes I think it will pass.
We can turn off the heat and open windows on Saturday, it will be 28!!! I can hardly wait! LOL
Think Rems has the best idea in the last capture--stay inside and watch through the window! It made it down to +3 this morning! Never thought that I would be happy with that number, but several days ago the prediction was -7!
Now that is what you call cold, love the ice on your door and the caption for poor Rems  Has the bird bath a heater to stop it from freezing or do you keep putting hot water in to stop it from freezing and keeping it warm? I bet the birds are grateful to get drinking water... :D
